Emergency Plumber in Flowood, MS
A burst supply line can put out several gallons a minute. The first job is stopping the water; the second is figuring out why it failed.
Common emergencies
- Burst or split supply lines (often PEX or copper at a fitting)
- Washing machine and ice-maker hoses that let go
- Toilets overflowing because of a main-line blockage
- Water heaters leaking from the tank or relief valve
Freeze events
Hard freezes aren't common in Rankin County, but they happen. The February 2021 winter storm froze pipes across the Jackson metro. When a hard freeze is forecast, drip faucets on outside walls, open sink cabinets and cover hose bibs.
